Founded in 1997 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, by Marie Claire Mildred Placide, a born entrepreneur with an artist's soul and a passion for food, Impex quickly became a key player in the Caribbean culinary scene.

 

Marie Claire, a graduate of both the National Cooking School of Haiti (Ecole Hôtelière d'Haiti) and the Escoffier School of Culinary Arts (USA) - both with Cum Laude honors-brings unmatched skill, heart, and creativity to every dish.

 

We've proudly catered over 1,000 events, from intimate dinners or 5 to large-scale celebrations of 900+ guests-including multinational events across several U.S. states and in Africa.
